Be A Part Of History!

Are you ready to be a part of Geocaching history? Join in on The World Wide Flash Mob Caching Event!

On November 10, 2007 Geocachers from all over the world will gather in their home locals to celebrate Geocaching. This “Flash Mob” gathering of Geocachers will last only 15 minutes long and you must be present and sign a log sheet during this time to claim the event.

A ‘flash mob’ is a large group of people who assemble suddenly in a public place, do something unusual for a brief period of time, then quickly disperse.

At time of writing there are over 80 scheduled WWFM Events. Check to see if there is one in your area. If not, start your own!

There will be volunteers handing out fliers that explain Geocaching to any inquiring ‘muggles’.

This sounds like a great, fun way to promote Geocaching.

Keep on cachin’!
