Hey, we just stumbled across a type of cache that we were not aware of before, and it combines another one of our passions – books!

These ‘book caches’ combine the concept of ‘bookcrossing’ (the practice of leaving a book in a public place to be picked up and read by others, who then do likewise) with Geocaching. It’s the ultimate book exchange!

The concept is simple – take a book, leave a book. A few of the book caches are themed and you should only exchange like books. As well, ensure that the books are protected from the elements.
