There are so many cachers out there that will be hospitable and go on a caching adventure with you. Not sure if the fella that you went with had already found all the caches you grabbed, but if he had, then that shows that it really isn't "all about the numbers." I know if I'm traveling solo somewhere or heading to someplace new, I'm going to start looking at this approach. If not just for the caching, but also having the chance to visit some great local places to eat. Great post.
